ABOUT ME

I’m Hashir Rasheed, a cinematographer, photographer and video producer based in South Holland, the Netherlands.

Born in Kerala, raised in Qatar, educated in Pune and trained in filmmaking in Prague, I have developed a visual perspective shaped by different cultures, environments and ways of seeing. Moving between these places taught me to observe carefully, adapt quickly and understand how people communicate beyond words.

Over the past four years, I have worked across film productions as part of the camera department, contributing to short films, documentaries and independent creative projects. Working on set has strengthened my experience in camera operation, lighting, composition, movement and visual continuity, while also teaching me the importance of preparation, communication and collaboration.

Alongside film work, I produce photography and video content for commercial, hospitality, sports, event and social media projects. I work closely with directors, clients and creative teams to understand the purpose of each project and translate it into a clear visual approach.

My work is driven by atmosphere, emotion and honest storytelling. Whether I am filming a narrative scene, documenting an event or creating a portrait, I aim to produce images that feel considered, cinematic and human.

I am available for film productions, photography assignments, commercial content and creative collaborations across the Netherlands and internationally.
